This Privacy Policy explains how KDP Opportunity Analyzer (KDPOA) processes information when you use the KDPOA Chrome extension, the KDPOA website and related services. KDPOA helps Amazon KDP users analyze niche and market opportunities using information visible on Amazon pages.

1. General principle

KDPOA limits data processing to what is necessary to provide its features. It is not designed to track general browsing activity, build advertising profiles, or sell user data. Some information is processed locally in Chrome; limited information is sent to KDPOA servers when required for licensing and service operation.

2. Amazon page data

When you analyze a compatible Amazon page, KDPOA may process visible information required for analysis, including titles, authors, prices, ratings, review counts, categories, product images, page URLs and other visible information needed to calculate KDPOA indicators. This data is used for user-requested demand, competition and opportunity analysis and is not used for advertising profiles.

3. Local Chrome storage

KDPOA may store extension settings, license state, analysis results, history, favorites, user preferences and technical information required for operation locally in Chrome.

4. Data sent to KDPOA

License activation, validation and device management may process the license email address, KDPOA license key, a technical device or installation identifier, browser/platform information, installed extension version and information required to enforce activation limits.

5. Version checks

KDPOA may contact KDPOA servers to check whether a newer version exists. When installed from the Chrome Web Store, installation and distribution of extension updates are managed by Google Chrome and the Chrome Web Store.

6. Payments

Licenses may be purchased on the KDPOA website. Payments are processed by Stripe. KDPOA is not intended to receive or store complete payment-card details. Information needed to manage an order may be retained, including email address, order reference, amount, payment status and license-creation information.

7. Customer support

Support may process information you voluntarily provide, including email address, name when provided, request subject, category, priority, message content and conversation history.

8. Purposes

Data is used to provide requested analysis features; store settings, analyses, history and favorites locally; activate and validate licenses; manage authorized devices; secure licensed features; check versions; manage orders and downloads; provide the customer portal and support; and prevent abuse or unauthorized use.

9. What KDPOA does not do

KDPOA does not sell personal data, use extension data for personalized advertising, use general browsing history for advertising, transfer user data to data brokers, or process extension data for purposes unrelated to clearly disclosed KDPOA functionality.

10. Site access

Access to compatible Amazon domains is used for Amazon-page analysis. Access to kdpoa.com is used for license activation and validation, activation management, version checks and services required to operate KDPOA.

11. Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect information. Internet communications between the extension and KDPOA servers use HTTPS. No information system can guarantee absolute security.

12. Retention

Data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and applicable legal or administrative obligations. Order and license information may be retained for service continuity, licensing, support, accounting or legal obligations. Locally stored Chrome information may be removed when extension data is deleted or the extension is uninstalled, subject to Chrome behavior.

13. Service providers

Data may be processed where necessary by Stripe for payments, KDPOA hosting providers, email-delivery services, and Google for Chrome and Chrome Web Store distribution. These providers have their own privacy policies.

14. Chrome Web Store

Data obtained through the KDPOA extension is used only to provide or improve clearly disclosed user-facing functionality. Extension data is not used for personalized advertising, sale of data or unrelated profiling.

15. User rights

Depending on your country and applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability where applicable. Contact KDPOA to exercise applicable rights.

16. Deletion requests

Requests to delete data may be sent to KDPOA support. Certain information may need to be retained when required by law, fraud prevention, transaction evidence or license-right management.

17. Children

KDPOA is intended for users of professional or commercial Amazon KDP services and is not specifically directed to children.

18. Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to KDPOA, its features, service providers or legal requirements. The date above identifies the current version.
